Refunds and cancellation

Change your mind. It's fine.

Draft — to be reviewed by a solicitor before the service is sold. Last updated 15 September 2026.

The short version

Cancel any time, no fee, and the archive stays open until the end of what you have paid for — then it becomes read-only, never deleted. Ask for a refund within fourteen days of paying and you will get one. Beyond that, the specifics are below.

The archive — yearly or monthly

First purchase: full refund if you ask within fourteen days, whether or not you have used it.

Renewals: full refund of the renewal if you ask within fourteen days of it being taken. After that, cancel and the archive stays open to the end of the paid period.

Cancelling: from your archive’s settings, or by email. It takes effect at the end of the current period; you are not charged again. The archive then becomes read-only — everything stays, everyone can see it, and any keeper can export it.

An occasion — £59

Full refund until the occasion’s page is published to its address or the first guest adds a photograph, whichever comes first. After that the occasion has been delivered and it is not refundable, except within the fourteen days above if it was your first purchase. The twelve months of archive that come with it run from the date of purchase.

More space

Cancel any time; it ends at the end of the period you paid for. If the archive then holds more than its remaining space allows, nothing is removed — new uploads simply pause until space is added again.

How to ask

Email hello@tokeepsafe.com from the address you signed in with, or reply to your Paddle receipt. Refunds are made by our payment partner, Paddle, to the card or account you paid with, usually within five working days. You do not need to give a reason.

What a refund does not do

It does not delete the archive. Only a keeper can do that, from settings, whenever they choose. A refunded or lapsed archive becomes read-only and stays there for the family to see and export. See the terms.

Your statutory rights

Nothing here reduces your rights under UK consumer law, including the fourteen-day cooling-off period for services bought online. Where these terms are more generous than the law, the more generous term applies.

Common questions

Can I get a refund?
Yes. You have a fourteen-day cooling-off period for services bought online, and where our policy is more generous than the law, the more generous term applies.
Does a refund delete my archive?
No. A refund does not delete anything. The archive becomes read-only and stays there for the family to see and export, and only a keeper can delete it from settings.
How do I cancel?
You can cancel at any time. The archive becomes read-only at the end of the paid period, and nothing already in it is removed.
