to keep safe

Private family archives

Every photograph. Every voice. Kept.

Not a feed. Not a folder in the cloud. A place your family keeps for good, the photographs from every wedding and christening and birthday, the people in them named, and underneath each one the memory that goes with it, written or spoken in their own voice. Guests add their pictures from a card on the table. Nobody else ever sees in.

Wedding reception tables set for a family celebration
A wedding in Crete, August 2026, the first occasion kept this way. Seventy guests added 1,100 photographs from a card on the table.

Their voices, kept

Under any photograph, anyone in the family can leave a memory, written, or recorded. Your mother, talking about her own wedding photographs. Nothing else does this.

What it looks like

A photograph. The people in it, named. And underneath, a voice.

That is the whole product, on one page. Everything else, the occasions, the tree, the cards on the tables, exists to fill pages like this one, for as long as the family lasts.

How it works

  1. 01

    Start with an occasion

A wedding, a christening, an eightieth. One page at its own address, when, where, what to wear, with a card for every table. Guests scan it and add what they took, on the day, with nothing to install.

  2. 02

    It becomes the first chapter

Everything they added is already in your archive. Name who's in each picture. Add a memory underneath, written, or in your own voice. The event page doesn't disappear; it's where the story starts.

  3. 03

    Keep going, for years

Every occasion after that adds a chapter. The tree grows. Grandparents talk about their own wedding photographs. In twenty years your grandchildren open a page and hear a voice.

What it costs

Less than the photographer’s second shooter. Kept for longer.

Why this exists

It began as one family’s archive, built for a son’s wedding in Crete and named after an old Xbox password. It turned out to be the thing every family needs and nobody has, not a feed, not a cloud folder, but a place that’s theirs, that outlasts phones and accounts and the people in the pictures. The family still uses it every week.

What “kept for good” actually means

Common questions

What is To Keep Safe?
To Keep Safe is a private family archive for photographs, video and voices. One family keeps everything in one place, at their own web address, and decides exactly who can see it.
Who can see our archive?
Only the people your family invites. Every archive is private by default, on its own subdomain, and is never public or indexed by search engines.
How much does it cost?
An occasion is $59.99, paid once: the page, the table cards, guest uploads and the family archive that keeps everything, with 20 GB of space. Keeping the archive open to new photographs, video and voices afterwards is $4.99 a month, with 100 GB of space, and your occasion has already paid for the setting up. Opening an archive without an occasion is $49.99 first. More space is $2.99 a month for each 100 GB.
What happens if we stop paying?
The archive becomes read-only. It is never deleted for non-payment, and you can export everything in it at any time.
Can guests add photos without an account?
Yes. At an occasion, guests scan the card on their table and add the photographs and video they took, with nothing to install and no account to create.
